The professionalization exams and the nursing workers in the Maringá – PR region

Abstract

The objective of this study was characterizing the population of nursing practitioners that accomplished the professionalizing suplency. We detected a great demand of practitioners for professionalization and we concluded that the supletive modality of education helped significantly in diminishing the number of practitioners in the Maringá region.
