Abstract
For the accomplishment of a surgical anesthetic procedure the patient can be positioned in several ways in order to provide a satisfactory, necessary and safe result. The present study consists of an exploratory research whose objective was to verify the frequency of the diagnosis of nursing risk of perioperative lesion caused by positioning in the transoperative period, analyzing the defining characteristics and factors related to it. This research was developed in three stages: elaboration of the instrument to be used in the interview, data collecting, analysis and synthesis of the collected data according to Risner (1990). The diagnostic affirmatives followed taxonomy II by NANDA (2002). The defining characteristics and the analyzed related factors were the ones that obtained frequency superior to 50%, such as: loss of habitual protecting barriers secondary to the anesthesia, and compromising the secondary circulation in the surgical room. We believe that the present study contributes to a better quality of perioperative nursing attendance, and to the scientific development of the area.Downloads
