Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop an instrument to evaluat ergonomic risks during patient-handling tasks and to determine its validity and reliability. The instrument validity was established by content evaluating and construct validity. The reliability evaluation was estimated trough homogeneity, stability (test-retest) and equivalence (interrater). The results of the current study showed that the instrument is reliable and that it should contribute for assessing patient-handling tasks.

Possui graduação em Enfermagem pela Universidade Estadual de Maringá (1994) e mestrado em Enfermagem pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2002).
