Abstract
Research in nursing is an important space for reflection and transformation of the professional practice. The objective of this study consisted on analyzing the internal logic of the title, the problem of research and the adequacy of the topics to the inherent scientific methodology, in works published in journals, in the period from 1999 to 2002, by clinical nurses from a public university hospital in Paraná State. It is a documental, descriptive research in a quantitative approach, carried out from data collected in primary sources. It was evidenced that the title of the articles presented clearly and coherently the theme of the study; the drafting of the problem was in the interrogative indirect form and that, despite the majority of the works analyzed in the study has used the scientific rigor in the preparation of the article, in some texts the explanation of components of the scientific method was not completely fulfilled. It is expected that the dissemination of knowledge in this context may contribute for the improvement of the scientific writing, fortifying the permanent education of pupils, professionals and researchers in nursing as well as in the advance of this area of knowledge.Downloads
