Abstract

This article aimed to identify the characteristics of creative groups assigned to the Community Family Health Strategy, from the model of the creative process of Björkman. The creative focus groups are those organized around a common interest in developing teaching-learning ambience that results in an artistic product. The data were obtained by observing the work of groups in the period from August to December 2008. Ten observations were made of the work of groups. After analyzing, the data is grouped around four sub-themes: Membership in the group, organization of work; Practice Group; and Participation team's Family Health Strategy. The results indicated that the development of creative community groups is on an intervention that enhances the capabilities of individuals and families involved in the process, since the production of creativity can instrumentalize them to seek to improve their health and their families.
