Abstract
In Brazil, the teaching of nursing has been historically marked by the constant implementation of curricular changes in undergraduate courses and discussions of pedagogical proposals through various stages of development over the years. This is a bibliographic and documental research by analyzing articles in the databases of Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences, Scientific Electronic Library Online and DEDALUS, internet and books in the area. It appears that most of the curricular changes in nursing education in Brazil is the predominance of in-hospital medical model of graduate education. This model focuses on the training of nurses in care and curative hospital, following the labor market for each season, which seeks to be overcome by the Curriculum Guidelines for the Graduate Course in Nursing. Currently, there is a movement for change in the training of nurses based on Brazilian experience and innovative processes.Downloads
