Abstract

This article aims to present the methodological change in the research on the economic growth of economist Nicholas Kaldor, as well as the reasons and context. In the course of three sections with notes on the construction of the economic growth research field, followed by descriptions of the classical works of the economist that mark the first phase and the changes he implements in the second, we conclude that the question of the realism of the hypotheses is neuralgic the change of the author, who starts to abandon axioms of classical microeconomics and moves towards a more heterodox approach.
