Revisitando a tese dos coeficientes decrescentes: Uma análise para o Brasil, 2000 a 2018
Uma análise para o Brasil, 2000 a 2018
Abstract
This article investigates the declining coefficient hypothesis to Brazil between 2000 and 2018. It employes statistical tests applied by Obstlom (1992) and Aroche-Reyes (1995), to find the pattern of technical change in Brazil. We used the input-output tables from Passoni and Freitas (2020) in our estimations. The results suggest the decrease in Leontief's direct technical coefficients. The Brazilian economy presented a rise in the productivity of inputs in the aforementioned period.
