ECONOMIA COMPORTAMENTAL E TOMADA DE DECISÃO:
APLICAÇÃO DE VARIANTES DO TESTE DO REFLEXO COGNITIVO
Abstract
This study to analyze the behavior of economic agentes facing the need for decision making, exploring whether the most used system is the deliberative or intuitive. For this, the Cognitive Reflex Test (CRT) was applied, structured in three versions: with multiple choice questions, including the intuitive alternative in the answer; with multiple choice questions, excluding the intuitive alternative in the answers and; with open questions, enabling a multitude of answers. As main results, in the first version of the test, participants responded intuitively to all questions, while in the second version there was a decrease in the percentage of intuitive answers; in the third test, higher percentages of correct answers were expected, since the questions did not contain alternatives and it was assumed that the respondents would use system 2 more. However, this was not confirmed and the intuitive answers returned to prevail in all questions, using system 1.
