INCERTEZA, EXPECTATIVAS E CONFIANÇA
Resumen
Las expectativas son un factor extremadamente importante en el proceso de toma de decisiones, que está fuertemente influenciado por las instituciones. El ganador del Premio Nobel de Economía 2002, Daniel Kahneman, terminó llamando la atención sobre el lado psicológico de los agentes económicos, al tratar de medir la incertidumbre a través de modelos matemáticos, dejando el comportamiento y el funcionamiento de las instituciones en un segundo plano. Sin embargo, existe una fuerte evidencia de que los agentes económicos bajo escenarios de incertidumbre rompen con los postulados tradicionales de la teoría económica. Las anomalías de comportamiento y los prejuicios revelan no solo la importancia del comportamiento humano en la economía, sino también el papel de las instituciones. ¿Cómo puede la economía del comportamiento contribuir y ayudar a los responsables políticos en tiempos de crisis e incertidumbre?
