The Revista Espaço Acadêmico has been indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals—DOAJ. The Directory was created  created in 2002, during the First Nordic Conference on Scholarly Communication in Lund/Copenhagen (http://www.lub.lu.se/ncsc2002) and it onlyindexes journals that do not charge readers or their institution for access.  Journals accepted to the DOAJ must be peer reviewed and have high editorial quality.
