FRAGMENTATION AND URBAN REALITY: THE INFERIOR CIRCUIT AND ACTIVITY INFORMAL OF MOTOTÁXI
Abstract
The paper aims to show the perspective of the inferior circuit that deals Milton Santos (2008a), the activity of informal mototaxi it is based in the city of Macapá-AP. Phenomenon that is increasingly reaching cities in Brazil, especially the mid-sized, and end up creating another in the urban economy: the Inferior circuit (IC). Moreover, we intended to analyze the conflicts over this new activity once the mototaxismo emerges as an urban phenomenon, in effect, making the urban stage these conflicts and tension. In this sense, make assumptions as to develop this work that the service was mototaxi: (1) a response to the precariousness of urban public transportation, (2) an alternative means for insertion into the labor market, (3) the affirming the lower circuit dating a new reality (economic and social) in cities. Therefore, we intend to investigate this "new" form of labor conflict and the emergence of intrinsic activity based on studies conducted in Macapá, and on the other hand, not with the intention of exhausting debate on the subject, but rather to contribute to discussion, which permeates the theme of urban planning.
