TERRITORY, SHORT MARKETING NETWORKS AND FOOD CONSUMPTION OF PEASANT AGRICULTURE - FRANCISCO BELTRÃO, PR
Abstract
Our main objective was to analyze the short circuits of the commercialization of foods for human consumption stimulated by farmers of Francisco Beltrão (PR), starting from the free markets where agroecological products are sold, trying to qualify the adopted theoretical-methodological option and, at the same time, generating subsidies that can be used in the participatory construction of territorial development projects in local cooperation networks. The procedures used in the research process were as follows: bibliographic and documentary research, application of questionnaires, interviewing and analysis of secondary data of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) of Francisco Beltrão - PR. The main results achieved are the understanding of the main characteristics of the farmers and their consumers of Francisco Beltrão, evidencing the participatory certification made by the Ecovida Network of Agroecology and the difficulties encountered in the consumption of the fairs studied.
