ESPAÇO GEOGRÁFICO DIGITAL (GEODIGI): TECNOLOGIAS EDUCACIONAIS DE APRENDIZAGEM E EDUCAÇÃO PARA REDUÇÃO DE RISCOS DE DESASTRE
Abstract
The present research aimed to develop a work methodology that would enable the apprehension of geographic space, by the student, in a critical and reflective way, from socially important contents and dynamic and attractive work methodologies for the student. In that way, a Digital Geographic Space (GEODIGI) was elaborated and work sections focused on the theme “Environmental Risks”, in order to enable discussions and problematizations, in a school environment, about the production of geographic space, considering its contradictions, inequalities and socio-environmental injustices. Therefore, digital resources and technological tools were used, understanding them as great allies of teachers in the construction and transmission of knowledge, in order to make students aware of the importance of understanding and social mobilization for prevention and risk reduction. In addition to these aspects, GEODIGI seeks to work with themes through creative pedagogical strategies based on gamification. It is expected, then, that the use of GEODIGI as a teaching resource can enable the development of the ability to understand and perceive situations of risk, by students, in their lived context, and can also promote greater engagement of school subjects in the process of teaching and learning.
