AMBIENT FRAGILITY AND EROSIVE IMPACTS BEYOND MANDACARU STREAM IN THE URBAN AREA OF MARINGÁ CITY - IN PARANÁ
Abstract
This work aims to contribute for the study of the ambient fragility in hydrographic basins, taking into account the necessity of the ambiental and territorial planning, understanding the operating elements in the space of joining forms, making possible the diagnosis of the problems of fragility of the landscape and evaluating its potentialities. As object of this study, it was selected the basin of Mandacaru Stream in the city of Maringá, because due to the occupation process, this area presents a lot of fragilities and ambiental impacts in virtue of the destitution of ambient and territorial planning in adjusted way, where the urbanization process comes advancing in the direction of the agricultural area, promoting great transformations in the physical organization and its ambiental behavior. Inside this perspective, the methodology was carried through the study of mappings and using the proposal from Ross (1991), that consists of some studies of the ambiental fragility considering the landscape as a whole, taking into account the units of its own landscape.
