A STUDY ABOUT RURAL TEACHERS AND THEIR FORMATION
Abstract
This article aimed to analyze the initial and current situation of teachers in rural areas of a municipality X in Bahia. To collect data in this survey were used questionnaires, documentary analysis and observation of meetings held fortnightly. It was found that most teachers in rural areas do not have the minimum basic training to teach and rarely continue to study, continued education is also scarce, which has little pedagogical knowledge of the context in which they act professionally and do not use the experience to produce foreground. So, invest in initial and continuing training of teachers from rural areas is needed before the results obtained.
