THE CONSUMPTION OF CATERING OUTSIDE THE HOUSEHOLD: A SAMPLE OF INDIVIDUALS AS ANALYTICAL PARAMETER

Abstract
The practice of catering and consuming food when not at home has becoming more and more usual nowadays. After all, with the new life rhythm, especially because of the globalization, people have been finding themselves in situations of lack of time, which undermines their everyday lifestyle. Thus, this work aims to study some of the people's feeding habits, mainly the feeding when not at home, checking some of the changes that occured in the society which motivated, more and more, the individuals to seek for catering services. For this purpose, first, a brief bibliographic review was carried out. Next, a questionnaire was applied. In a second moment, the data compiling was carried out in the city of Toledo-PR, aiming to discover, among other factors, what people seek in this process, as well as to point out if there are great differences in this practice between working days and weekends.Downloads
