Abstract
This article discusses the strategies of the Agroindustrial Cooperative Agraria, installed in the district of Entre Rios, Guarapuava, in south-central region of Paraná. The cooperative was founded in 1951 by the Danube Swabians (people of German culture), the main strategy in the search for competitiveness is domestic and international markets, the focus is on production of cereals such as corn and soybeans, wheat and barley. The diversification of production is not among the directions of the Cooperative Agricultural, contrary to what occurs in other cooperatives founded by immigrants in the state, and presents itself as a point of conflict between the associates. Strategies of Agrarian Cooperative are in the midst of organizational forms, ownership and domination of space conforming territories, in a process of social and economic dimensions that affects society. The methodological approach was designed by an economic perspective through literature review and empirical construction from a qualitative study with the recording of conversations and interviews open and semi-structured interviews with leaders of the cooperative and others agents of this space.Downloads
