MULTITEMPORAL ANALYSIS OF USES AND SOIL COVERAGE IN THE INDIGENOUS LANDS DEMARCATED IN GOIÁS STATE

Abstract

Multi temporal analyzes of covered and land use help in the comprehension of an area occupation dynamic. Like that, the paper describe the changes of physical environmental of indigenous lands and their surroundings near in Goias. To achieve the objective was used the digital processing of remote sensing images of four different periods (before the creation of indigenous lands and the current period), field analysis, data from the outbreaks of available fire by INPE and census data of the population and agriculture. The results revealed significant changes in land cover and land use over the period analyzed. In summary, it was observed that in the area of the indigenous land Avá-Canoeiro was mapped area of flood and fires. In the areas surrounding the Karajá, Aruanã I and III indigenous lands, the expansion of the urban perimeter of Aruanã and advancement of the agricultural areas in substitution for the savannas stands out. Finally, in the Carretão I and II indigenous land and its surroundings, agriculture and cattle ranching predominated, being that the conversion data of the landscape in this area are associated to the growth of the number of cattle, which demands greater pasture area and therefore greater conversion of landscapes.
