Abstract

Currently, the education in the classroom has been rediscuited, in the sense of reaching possibilities consistent with the new challenges imposed within the process of teaching learning. Thus, the objective of this article is to present a methodological approach based on interdisciplinarity, between Geography and the disciplines of Literature, Chemistry, Biology and Physics, as a teaching tool. As a methodology, we used interpretive trails, whose target audience are students of the three high school series, Coeducar College, in the municipality of Caçapava do Sul, RS. This route was carried out in the Fortaleza and Itaimbezinho canyons, located in the city of Cambará do Sul.

The results obtained were able to present information about the nature of the region, such as geological formations, geochemistry, literary, climatological aspects, types of biomes, ecological interactions, to human aspects such as types of soil occupation. This information was presented at a seminar organized by the students, under the guidance of the teachers of the mentioned disciplines, for other schools in Caçapava do Sul. It is believed that this experience could serve as a basis for other schools in order to promote interdisciplinarity.
