Abstract

The migratory routes in the Brazilian territory were modified due to economic changes in both the national and the international scenarios. This movement gained visibility in the Metropolitan Region of Maringa. Human mobility was mainly stimulated by agribusiness in the State of Parana. Once attracted by meatpackers and other branches of the growing economy. national and international migration routes headed mainly towards the hinterlands of the State of Parana. This research aims at studying and analyzing the contemporary labor mobility in North Central Parana, in which one identifies a few elements of such process and the main migratory groups. The labor mobility lying on the production and circulation of the workforce (GAUDEMAR, 1977) becomes visible in the landscape of Maringa. To that end, readings, data collection, fieldwork and participatory survey were carried out. Men migrating in northern Parana reveals new forms of financial capitalism. Therefore, the transformation in the North-Central Parana is clear, granted the capital crisis, which at times absorbs labor and at other times expels manpower. It thus increases the number of migrants that circulate, that remain and that disclose the contradictions of the social model.
