PERCEPTION OF STUDENTS AT ADÉLIA BRASIL FEIJÓ STATE SCHOOL OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES AND MAN/NATURE INTERACTION IN THE OCCUPATION OF BRAZILIAN TERRITORY
Abstract
This article brings an experience lived by high school students at the public full-education school Adélia Brasil Feijó, located in the city of Fortaleza, state of Ceará, during human sciences classes: Geography and History. This study is justified because it deals with the appropriation of the theme and thus awakens in the student the importance of preserving archaeological sites. The objective of this study is to understand archaeological sites and the importance of these environments in the cultural, economic and social context. The methodology adopted was, firstly, investigation of the students' prior knowledge, followed by bibliographical research on the main archaeological sites in Brazil, discussion of texts, artifacts, cave paintings and reports found. The students then produced models, folders, posters and reproductions of cave paintings. Finally, the socialization of knowledge with the groups involved. The results of this study demonstrate a dose of contribution to the formation and recognition on the part of students in relation to Brazilian historical/cultural heritage.
