Interchange relations between Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina in the field of physical education and sports science: some reflections since the first voyage in 1945
Abstract
In 1945 Antonio Pereira Lira and Alfredo Colombo, both teachers of Escola Nacional de Educação Física e Desportos (ENEFD) visited Argentina and Uruguay. The aim of the visit was to know the peculiarities of Physical Education in those countries. The serch for interchange in Latin America was frequent at that time due to the influence of Pan-Americanism. Besides retrieving that event, the aim of this study is to identify the impact of the visit on ENEFD and Brazilian Physical Education, and some parameters which allow us to rethink and give new direction to the present-day realations between the countries involved.Downloads
