The picture of a poor, black girl who is a gymnastics world champion is offered to media. Daiane dos Santos, Brazilian and mediatic by way of the result in the field of sports, qualifies to Athens 2004 Olympic Games as a strong favorite to win the Olympic gold. The gold didn’t come and the “golden gauchinha ” was contextualized again through different maps of meaning on Zero Hora and Folha de São Paulo newspapers. These differences are the standpoint of this text evidencing the framings of these two media considering regional and national singularities.Downloads
