Abstract

Our objective is to demonstrate the importance of an ample understanding of the formation and professional sectorial leisure activity in socio-recreational clubs. We highlight here various signs, supported by the referenced authors, that point to the importance of a more qualified professional basis, which includes technical, but also pedagogical and political dimensions in the club, as a privileged space for the concretization of associativism, and as one of the components of the corporative sector which can belong to a public political body of sports and leisure.
