Entropy and Pascal’s Triangle
Abstract
The main objective of this work is to present a different method of calculation in questions of probabilities and its application for the counting of microstates of ideal physical systems. For the complete understanding of this idea it is necessary to understand the concept of equiprobability by means of the construction of a similar algorithm to the Pascal triangle and using it in the description of physical systems to get information about the entropy. In this way, problems of physical statistics inspired in exercises had been elaborated involving the counting of accessible self-states of systems with few particles, making possible one better understanding of different physical concepts.Downloads
