A IMPLEMENTAÇíO DE AÇÕES PARA A PROMOÇíO DA CULTURA OCEí‚NICA E DO ODS 14 NA COSTA NORDESTE DO ESTADO DO PARÍ FRENTE Á DÉCADA DO OCEANO

Abstract

The northeast coast of Pará is made up of rich ecosystem mosaic, predominating restingas and mangroves influenced by the Amazon River, with channels and islands. The region has high biodiversity, requiring urgent protection, as it is affected by environmental impacts, so the regional coastal and oceanic zone undergoes siltation, erosion, overweight and depletion of mangroves, impacting biodiversity. The United Nations (UN) has launched the decade of oceanic science for sustainable development (ocean decade - 2021 to 2030), focusing on sustainable development 14 (water life), agenda 20-30. Directed the promotion of ocean sustainable teaching, we use the Quali-Quantitative Methodology in the universe of geography in the municipality of São João da Ponta for 9th grade students. Taking advantage of regional specificity, to validate research, we develop as product, booklet of ocean culture, related to the UNESCO pedagogical kit, presenting the importance of coastal conservation, spreading, knowledge of coastal oceanic culture.
