This study aimed to compare the thermal comfort levels in conventional and innovative residences of Projeto CASA (Center of Alternative Energy System Analysis) from UNIOESTE - campus of Cascavel. The measures of the thermal comfort parameters were accomplished using digital thermo-hygrometers, in all of the rooms of the residences and in the outer area, in different hours of the day. We used the Temperature and Humidity Index to compare the obtained results. The innovative residence presented lower values of Temperature and Humidity Index than the conventional residence, justifying its differentiated architecture in order to obtain a higher thermal comfort.
