Abstract

Assay was carried out to verify the effects of the addition of fumaric acid, oligosaccharide mannose (BIO-MOS®), acidifiers (ACID-ALL®) and oligosaccharide + acidifiers in diets on the performance of growing rabbits fed on diets with high starch contents (26.60%). 100 WNZ rabbits, 50 males and 50 females, age ranging from 35 to 70 days old, were distributed in a randomized experimental design with five treatments, 10 replications and two animals per experimental unit. In periods 35-50 and 35-70 days of experiment the performance and carcass characteristics were not affected by the inclusion of oligosaccharide mannose, acidifiers and oligosaccharide +acidifiers.
