The essay analyzes one of the most important Vico’s sources, Francis Bacon, and the theoretical assonances that get him closer to Vico. Memory and Ingenuity, medicine of the mind and body, method of studies and poetry are important themes that bring the two philosophers closer, deeply engaged in the field of knowledge theory, in line with European thought.
