Investment in professional qualification: an economic approach in its importance - doi: 10.4025/actascihumansoc.v34i1.14181
Abstract
The productive restructuring process by which the economy has passed requires constant adjustments and improvements in the labor market. The increasing competitiveness and the search for better levels of productivity require increasingly high investments in professional qualification. Considering this context, this study sought to explain the key aspects involved in professional qualification investment, as well as its various forms, its sponsors and the situation of the employed population in Brazil in relation to schooling, income and training. The prevailing economic approach furthers the understanding of the impacts of qualification for the individual, companies and the economy as a whole.
