Post-graduation in Brazil: concentration process analysis
Abstract
In this work, post-graduate research activity concentration in some areas of Brazil is characterized and analyzed. Using CAPES performance (the agency responsible for Brazilian post-graduation courses policy, guidelines and fomentation) as reference, its operational systems and its contribution for consolidating a concentration research map are analyzed. The purpose of this work is to cause a reflection upon the effectiveness of CAPES activities in building a post-graduation system and the policy reformulation needed to meet Brazil's new challenges.Downloads
