Teaching practice and supervised apprenticeship in Portuguese language: issues to be discussed

Abstract

The chief difficulties teachers and students encounter in the discipline Teaching Practice/Supervised Apprenticeship in Portuguese are analyzed. Emphasis is given to investigations on these problems and on the methodological subsidies employed in the training of teachers of the Portuguese Language. Foregrounded on current theories, the discussion is highlighted by situations experienced by teachers and teachers-apprentices. These experiences are a worthy contribution to the task of showing possible and efficient ways towards the training of critical and transformation-minded professionals.
