<b>Recent industrialization policy in Brazil
Abstract
Industrial policies are widely used and contributed to the industry strengthening and dynamism in developed countries. In addition to spreading the debate on the Industrial Policy, this work has as main objective to present a discussion of the Brazilian industrial policy, from the 2000s. It can be concluded that despite the counter-cyclical character of industrial policy in Brazil, the measures taken in the short-term, were essential to ensure the survival of industries, employment and income, in an adverse scenario as was the financial crisis after 2008.
