Schooling and socialization in child education

Abstract

Schooling experience, citizenship and child development are integrated terms in child education. Considering children as active constructors of their knowledge, the teacher’s crucial role in this process and the role of games and plays in their schooling and socialization are stressed.

Possui graduação em Pedagogia pela Universidade de São Paulo (1972), mestrado em Educação pela Universidade de São Paulo (1982) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade de São Paulo (1986). Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Métodos e Técnicas de Ensino, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação infantil, educação, alfabetização, pré-escola e crianças Currículo Lattes
