Reflections on the criticism of history teaching in Brazil in the 1980s
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to investigate the theoretical writings on the traditional teaching of history in Brazil in the 1980s in order to understand these authors as social subjects inserted in a particular historical period and their writings as expressions of the struggles, hopes and perspectives of Brazilian society. Dialectics is used as the methodological and theoretical parameter to verify how these authors constructed their criticism of the traditional teaching of history.Downloads
