History, police and mainstream press: reflections on São Paulo city police representations
Abstract
Using mainstream press as source, the possibilities of contributing to the understanding of the Brazilian police action are discussed in this article. Giving particular attention to the historian’s role in this contemporary theme, the results of a survey on a specific historical period, January/83 through December/85, of São Paulo City are reported and discussed.Downloads
