Pedro Abelardo and changhes in the twelfth century’s thought

Abstract

This article aims at presenting Pedro Abelardo’s philosophic thought in its original historical context. Based on historical source documents we were able to analyse the twelfth century’s changes resulted from the resurgence of urban and trade activities which definetely influenced the education, thoughts and habits of that period.

Author Biography

Terezinha Oliveira, UEM

concluiu o doutorado em História pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita (Assis) em 1997. Realizou, em 2005, Estágio de Pós-Doutorado em Filosofia da Educação, na Faculdade de Educação da USP. Atualmente é professora da Universidade Estadual de Maringá e Bolsista Produtividade. Publicou 22 artigos em periódicos especializados e 269 trabalhos em anais de eventos. Possui 5 livros e 9 capítulos publicados. Possui 177 itens de produção técnica. Participou de 4 eventos no exterior e 59 no Brasil. Orientou 18 Dissertações de Mestrado em Educação, 20 Projetos de Iniciação Científica e 8 Monografias de Especialização nas áreas de Educação, Filosofia e História. Atua na área de Educação, com ênfase em História da Educação. Em suas atividades profissionais interagiu com 40 colaboradores em co-autorias de trabalhos científicos. Em seu Curriculo Lattes os termos mais freqüentes na contextualização da produção científica, tecnológica e artístico-cultural são: Fundamentos da Educação, Educação Medieval, História da Educação na Idade Média, Transformação Social, Universidade Medieval, Educação, Filosofia Medieval, História da Educação, Escolástica e História Currículo Lattes
