Reading concept in homework: from emergence to critical subject’s silencing
Abstract
This article discusses the concept of reading investigated in Portuguese homeworks assigned to early stage of learning students through an ethnographic research carried out with public and private schools located in the northwestern area of the state of Paraná, in 1997, with the theoretical support of pragmatics and French-oriented discourse analysis. The partial results demonstrated that the concept of reading expressed by the teachers, according to most recent linguistic principles, is incoherent with that shown in the homeworks.Downloads
