Analysis of rules, procedures and laws observation regarding the biological material use in morphology teaching of Goiânia universities - DOI: 10.4025/actascihumansoc.v25i1.2206
Abstract
Through documental analysis and field research, the aim of this paper was to discuss the observation and non-observation of rules and technical procedures for the use of biological material in morphology teaching at Catholic University of Goiás and Federal University of Goiás. The analysis of the results allowed us to raise the following critical points: the laboratories do not always have formal usage protocols, so that these procedures are verbally stated; technicians do not have the laws at hand and some of them are not even aware of such rules; there are no visible written signs about the environmental hazards; there are no instructions about the civil or penal risks to the workers, as well as training instructions. Based on these observations it is suggested that permanent systems of laboratory routines should be established for internal and external users, and technical instructions about work medicine and security, as well as legal issues, should be provided by professional staffDownloads
