Abstract

From the oversymbolist perspective – the dedication to transforming letters into paints scattered on the blank canvas of the page – the article aims to understand the educational thoughts of the poet Carlos Nejar as he circulates his children's and youth works. It is characterized as a critical-documentary analysis. The analysis of youth works revealed the important role of intellectual producer and mediator in education assumed by the poet Carlos Nejar, in a way that he produced a ‘didactic-pedagogical’ work, while also circulating his political culture through his production both within and outside of schools. By leaving his signature in poetry, providing an aesthetic and inventive experience with words and images, it is concluded that in his work there is an effort to make poetry a way of questioning reality, an instrument of resistance in human formation.
