Tecendo o cenário geopolítico e sociolinguístico: capítulos da obra
Abstract
This review aims to present the work “Portuguese in the 21st century: Geopolitical and sociolinguistic scenario, by the scholar and linguist Luiz Paulo de Moita Lopes, published in 2013, by Editora Parábola. This work has 13 chapters, in addition to the preface by Prof. José Luiz Fiorin and the introduction by Moita Lopes, in which the proposal is to “theorize Portuguese”, as highlighted by Lopes (2013), that is, to think of different epistemologies that can better understand the language, the passage of time- language, the changes that have taken place in the field of language, above all, the border and cybernetic spaces arising from globalization.
