Entrevista com José Luis Peixoto: os limites da produção literária em Língua Portuguesa para o mundo
Abstract
José Luís Peixoto nasceu em Galveias, Portugal, em 1974. Após sua licenciatura em Línguas e Literaturas Modernas na Universidade Nova de Lisboa, começou a sua carreira literária publicando o livro Morreste-me, em 2000. Com o romance Nenhum Olhar, venceu o Prêmio José Saramago em 2001 contando ainda vinte e sete anos de idade e teve seus livros traduzidos para mais de vinte idiomas diferentes. No Brasil, seus livros são publicados entre duas casas editorias: Companhia das Letras e Dublinense. Destaque para os livros Cemitério de pianos (2006), Livro (2010) Galveias (2014), Em teu ventre (2015) e Autobiografia (2019). Além dos romances, publicou também livros de poesia, literatura de viagem e livros infanto-juvenis. A entrevista que segue é parte de uma mesa na 7ª Festa Literária Internacional de Maringá (FLIM), realizada de maneira virtual, no dia 10 de dezembro de 2020.
