Guidelines for Authors

The Journal Arquivos do Mudi does not charge a fee for submission, evaluation or publication.

All of its content is made available free of charge to all readers.

Articles must be submitted rigorously revised, under penalty of non-acceptance by the journal, since compliance with Vancouver language standards is a criterion considered in the evaluation. If the reviewers request changes to the text, publication of the article will be subject to the submission of the requested corrections within 15 days.

1. The article must be unpublished, written in Portuguese, English or Spanish and must not be under consideration in any other journal or publication vehicle, in whole or in part, in the original language or translated.
2. All Metadata must be filled out correctly at the time of submission. Otherwise, there may be a problem in registering the DOI of the published article and this is irreversible.
3. The full name(s) of the author(s) (maximum 7 authors, except for multicenter studies), their institutions of activity, email address and ORCID must be filled out in the author(s) registration in the OJS system, as well as on the title page.
4. Each author may submit only one article per issue. To foster the diversity of authors and ideas, as well as to encourage the publication of more than one research, with the same author, in other scientific dissemination channels. After having their article published in the journal Arquivos do Mudi, authors will only have new submissions evaluated in the subsequent edition.
5. Illustrations (drawings, diagrams, flowcharts, photographs, graphs, maps, organizational charts, plans, tables, portraits, pictures, images, among others), when applicable, must be inserted in the body of the text. Tables must have their formatting and presentation regulated by the IBGE Tabular Presentation Standards (1993).
