Guidelines for Good Editorial Practice

If the editorial board finds that there are irregularities resulting from misconduct, it may review its actions, including excluding articles that have already been published, duly notifying the authors.

The following will be considered academic misconduct
1. Failure to comply with the general rules defining plagiarism;
2. The inclusion of names as authors of people who did not directly contribute to the article, including when the co-authorship is between teachers and students;
3. Failure to comply with ethical standards for research with human beings;
4. The absence of prior indication of possible conflicts of interest with members of the editorial board or body of referees;
5. Simultaneous submission of articles to more than one publication vehicle;
6. The omission of members of the research team who collaborated in the development of theses in the article or the receipt of funding from national or international agencies;
7. Issuing an opinion that conceals ideological, political or personal reasons about the topics covered in the article.
