EFEITOS MULTISSISTÊMICOS DO USO DO CIGARRO ELETRÔNICO: REVISÃO NARRATIVA DA LITERATURA

Resumo

RESUMO: Objetivou-se verificar os efeitos multissistêmicos do uso do cigarro eletrônico (CE). Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa da literatura, sendo a PubMed a base de dados consultada, mediante descritores “e-cigarrette”; “effects”, incluindo ensaios clínicos randomizados publicados em 2018 a 2023, língua inglesa e disponíveis na íntegra. Foram encontrados 15 artigos, dos quais 13 estavam disponíveis na íntegra e foram incluídos para análise. Os efeitos multissistêmicos causam prejuízos cardiovasculares e pulmonares imediatos, bem como efeitos séricos, psicossociais e educacionais. Utilizar CE provoca efeitos multissistêmicos agudos macro e microestruturais.
