This is a descriptive and exploratory study, with qualitative approach, which was developed from the adaptation of the evaluation of the dimensions of “Structure and Process” proposed by Donabedian. Data was collected through 14 semi-structured interviews with the family members of users of CAPS, from January 2006 to February 2008. Results: To the family, the ambience and the receptivity in the service means the resolution in the adversities they face in their daily lives. In the family view, these tools enable a free caregiving practice, facilitating the social and familiar inclusion of the users with mental disorders.Downloads
