Abstract
The nursing workers at the Supplies and Sterilization Center are exposed to a series of unfavorable conditions in their work environment, resulting in countless complaints among them. The objective of this study is to identify the referred morbidity by nursing workers of the supply center, as well as searching for possible causes. This is a descriptive and explorative study. The population consisted of 19 workers of the supply center in a hospital specialized in orthopedics. A form with 15 questions was used to collect data aiming at the characterization of the population, as well as at the complaints regarding health, classified in 3 categories: chronic complains (QC), acute complains (QA) and complains concerning the work (QT), being all of them assembled by the International Disease Classification (CID). The results revealed that the more frequent QC regarding the circulatory system, the QA regarding the osteo-conjunctive and muscular tissue system and the QT the more frequent were osteo-conjunctive and muscular tissue system, followed by mental and behavioral disturbances. A close relationship was verified between the work in CME and the occurrence of morbid manifestations among these workers.Downloads
