Abstract
This statistical-descriptive study has the purpose of characterizing computer-mediated interaction and correlating this interaction with the nature of nursing. An analytical and descriptive methodology was applied. The core concepts adopted in this study were: interaction within a nursing perspective, Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC), and the art of nursing. The procedure used to data analysis was the content analysis. The data corpus for analysis was organized by analyzing messages posted by members of a nursing virtual community. The primary results show an interactive process between members of the virtual community that denotes a singularity in virtual environment interaction. Some links between interaction in a virtual environment and art of nursing are discussed. Finally, some general contributions essential for the development of skills related to virtual context and relationship with other are presented.Downloads
