Types of complications in the postoperative period of miocardic revascularization

Abstract
The surgery of miocardiac revascularization (MR) is one of the options to treat coronary insufficiency. This quantitative study had the purpose to investigate the types of complications occurred in the postoperative period of such procedure. Data were obtained at the Heart Surgery Service database in Cascavel – Paraná state, and were analyzed with the Statistics Program 6.0. The postoperative complications were: cardiovascular 14 (11.8%) cases; lungs 12 (10.1%) cases; neurological 6 (5%) cases; gastrointestinal 4 (3.4%) cases; renal 2 (1.7%) cases; related to bleeding 1 (0.8%) case; muscle-skeletal 1 (0.8%) case. During that period 3 deaths occurred (2.5). It was considered the importance of a nurse in all of the operative phases in order to minimize possible complications, in a continuous, integrated, and attentive work to identify the presented signs, diagnoses and evaluation of results.Downloads
